Free Breakfast Club starting Term 5
Dear Parents and Carers,
Following the recent announcement about our free Breakfast Club offer starting in Term 5, I would like to provide you with some further information.
Thank you to everyone who responded to our initial letter. We are pleased that the majority of families are positive about this offer. A number of families asked about the timings and why the free provision begins at 8:30am. To clarify, the funding received covers 30 minutes of breakfast provision before the start of the school day. Our learning time begins at 9:00am, following our current soft‑start period from 8:40am. Therefore we are moving the start of the soft start time to 8:30am to incorporate our free breakfast club offer.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my child is already attending the earlier paid Breakfast Club?
Children attending the 8:00am paid session will go to their classrooms at 8:30am for the soft‑start period. Teachers will be in their classrooms ready to welcome them.
Do I need to book a place?
You will be able to book a place Breakfast Club via the School Grid system, but there will be no charge for the 8:30am free session.
All children will be registered daily using the School Grid tablets.
Your child will still be able to attend breakfast club, even if they have not booked.
What if my child arrives after 8:45am?
Children arriving after 8:45am should go straight to their classrooms. They will enter via the breakfast club gate. They may collect a bakery item on the way if they would like something to eat.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming children to our expanded Breakfast Club next term.
