Jewellery at school
At Bournville, we want every child to feel safe, comfortable, and ready to learn. Jewellery can create risks during play and practical lessons, including trips, falls, or snagging on equipment. For this reason, we ask families to follow our clear guidance: PLEASE DON'T WEAR JEWELLERY TO SCHOOL.
This includes items such as rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and any decorative accessories. Even small pieces can become loose or cause discomfort when children are moving, using PE equipment, or taking part in activities that involve hands-on learning including our OPAL play.
We ask parents to support the school with this matter and please check your child is not wearing such items before they come to school.
Many Thanks
Bournville School
