Welcome back term 5

 

It was wonderful to see our children return so well yesterday.  The launch of our Free Breakfast club was a huge success with over 200 children signing in on the first day.  We would like to see those numbers increasing day by day, so please remember that we are open from 8.30am.  All children will go in via the small hall green gate now and register in the small hall.  The children managed this change to routine very well and we discussed all these changes in assembly.  Please can I remind parents that if they need to speak to their class teachers, they will need to leave a message with the office or speak to a member of the gate staff to pass on any messages.  Teachers are in their classes at the start of the day and unavailable for individual discussions however they are available to speak to you at the end of the day when you collect. You will also have noticed that we have site works underway.  We are having solar panels installed across the roof.  This is a big project which will enable the school to reduce their carbon footprint and improve our energy use and efficiency.  These works are likely to last approximately 2 weeks and we hope to keep disruption to a minimum.
